Theatre Crude Fringe Festival 2024 at Theatre Crude

Experience live performance like you've never seen before. This performing arts festival packs plenty of activities and live entertainment for a full fringe festival experience.

This 10-day event features over 45 performances from 13 multidisciplinary performance groups. On each day, audience members will have the opportunity to attend a different line-up of performances. Performers will demonstrate multiple disciplines like comedy, opera, dance, puppetry and more.

This year’s festival will also feature 9 free and open-to-the-public workshops taught by professional, trained artists. Workshops are a chance to dip a toe into disciplines such as playwriting, creative movement, physical comedy, dance, puppetry, Shakespeare, and arts administration.

This festival celebrates the Fringe style of theatre production. One hour or less, low tech and high on ingenuity, Fringe performances are a national and international phenomenon, with festivals happening in every major city across the globe. No restrictions are made as to the nature, style, theme or content. All performers are welcome, regardless of professional or amateur status. The result is a festival full of the unexpected.
