OKC Broadway Announces HAMILTON, WAITRESS, CATS and More in 2018-2019 Season  Image

A Nederlander and Civic Center Foundation Presentation is delighted to announce its 2018 - 2019 Season lineup. Broadway's newest and biggest hits join the previously announced engagement of HAMILTON to complete one of the most exciting seasons yet to come for Oklahoma City theatre-goers at the Civic Center Music Hall. Plus - two of the biggest Broadway blockbusters are back by popular demand and available as added attractions to your season package!

The 2018-2019 Season begins with LOVE NEVER DIES, Andrew Lloyd Webber's spellbinding sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, and continues with the unforgettable behind the music story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan in ON YOUR FEET! Broadway's hit, A BRONX TALE, is an unforgettable tale of loyalty and family and what amNewYork describes as "Jersey Boys meets West Side Story." The hilarious and uplifting musical WAITRESS with music by Sara Bareilles and Andrew Lloyd Webber's record-breaking musical spectacular CATS will take the stage next Spring. Finally, the Oklahoma premiere of HAMILTON will arrive for a three-week engagement in Summer 2019.

OKC Broadway is the presenter of the nationally touring Broadway shows and is a partnership between The Nederlander Organization, known for presenting live theatre and concerts world-wide; and the Civic Center Foundation, who in its 15+ year history has donated millions to the Civic Center Music Hall for improvements to heighten the performance experience for both performers and audiences. The 6-Show 2018-2019 Season Ticket Package includes LOVE NEVER DIES, ON YOUR FEET!, A BRONX TALE, WAITRESS, CATS and HAMILTON.

LES MISÉRABLES and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA are added special productions and may be added on to a season ticket package.

September 18 - 23, 2018

LOVE NEVER DIES

The ultimate love story continues in LOVE NEVER DIES, Andrew Lloyd Webber's spellbinding sequel to The Phantom of the Opera.

The year is 1907. It is 10 years after his disappearance from the Paris Opera House and The Phantom has escaped to a new life in New York where he lives amongst the screaming joy rides and freak shows of Coney Island. In this new, electrically charged world, he has finally found a place for his music to soar, but he has never stopped yearning for his one true love and musical protégée, Christine Daaé. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (Added Season Event)

Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will make a triumphant return to Oklahoma City. Critics are raving that this breathtaking production is "bigger and better than ever before" and features a brilliant new scenic design by Paul Brown, TonyAward-winning original costume design by Maria Björnson, lighting design by Tony Award-winner Paule Constable, new choreography by Scott Ambler, and new staging by director Laurence Connor. The production, overseen by Matthew Bourne and Cameron Mackintosh, boasts many exciting special effects including the show's legendary chandelier.
