Only Human, the new musical spearheaded by pop-rock artist Mike Squillante, will receive another industry presentation. Jesse Murphy and James Sears Bryant's new shop, Jesse James Films, has partnered with Oklahoma City University on a developmental workshop. The company will present to a private audience at The Naulte Fine Art Gallery in downtown Oklahoma today, Friday, November 2nd at 7pm.

Featuring music and lyrics by Squillante, Only Human has a book by Jess Carson and is directed by NJ Agwuna, who also oversaw the four-week lab. The workshop will feature cast members from the Wanda L. Bass School of Music with choreography by Josue Jasmin and musical direction and arrangements by Adria Barbosa.

Only Human follows the original team of angels leading the Creation process at the beginning of time. When God's favorite, Lou, is set on achieving glory, an unparalleled obsession takes hold, leading him down an iconic path towards his own personal Hell.

"It made perfect sense to workshop Only Human at the University," said producer Murphy. "The caliber of the institution, the unparalleled talent, and the resources we've received through this partnership have been monumental to the development of the production. We can't wait to bring the show to New York next year."

Nick Ginsberg of Foresight Theatrical will serve as general manager for the commercial production. Additional producers on Only Human include Gary & Sharon Jarrard, Gylden Entertainment, James Bryant, Mary & Dick Meisterling, James Raby, with minority partners Amy Hassinger, and Steve Becker.
