N'Kenge to Perform with Oklahoma City Philharmonic

N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical, Sondheim on Sondheim), returns to Oklahoma City Philharmonic as a featured soloist to perform in the concert "All That Jazz: A Symphonic Celebration of the Duo Kander and Ebb." The Philharmonic with conductor Joel Levine will take audiences on a musical journey showcasing the musical genius of this Tony Award Winning Duo featuring songs from their hit shows Cabaret, Chicago, Scottsboro boys and more. N'Kenge will be joined by Tony award winner Beth Leavel, Jersey Boys's Kirsten Scott, Phantom of the Opera's Tedd Keegan and Concert Soloist Ron Remke.

NY Post calls N'Kenge "Electrifying" in the role of Mary Wells in Broadway's Motown: The Musical and she made her Broadway debut in Sondheim on Sondheim alongside Vanessa Williams, Barbara Cook and Norm Lewis. N'Kenge made her West End debut starring in The Genius of Ray Charles and has been hailed by Variety as "a sensational powerhouse of a singer packed in a lithe body". N'Kenge made her Carnegie Hall debut with the New York Pops Orchestra where NY Times called her "a classically trained diva that can stretch from Broadway, Pop Soul to Opera". N'Kenge has performed as a soloist with many Symphonies including Cleveland Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony and Naples Philharmonic to name a few.
