The Bygone LLC, in association with the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO), is pleased to announce the start of production in Oklahoma for the feature film THE BYGONE. "Having been born in Mercy Hospital 29 years ago, it's such a wonderful thrill to come back to Oklahoma with my brother to make our film, 'The Bygone'", said Writer/Director Parker Phillips. "I could not be more grateful to the State of Oklahoma, its people and the Film Commission for making this possible."

"The Bygone" is a neo-western thriller written and directed by brothers Graham Phillips ("The Good Wife") and Parker Phillips, and is being produced by Eric Watson ("Requiem for a Dream") and Elliott Lester ("Nightingale").

The film follows a young rancher's search for a missing Native American girl, which throws him into the rural underworld of crime and trafficking, brought on by the North Dakota oil boom, into which she has become ensnared.

"The Bygone" stars Graham Phillips ("The Good Wife"), Shawn Hatosy ("Animal Kingdom"), Ritchie Coster ("The Dark Knight"), Jamie McShane ("Bloodline"), Tokala Black Elk ("Wind River"), Jacqueline Toboni ("Grimm"), Irene Bedard ("Pocahontas") and Sydney Schafer.

"'The Bygone' is a homecoming for filmmakers Graham & Parker Phillips whose father, Layn Raymond Phillips is a former United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. When they suggested that we make the film in Oklahoma we contacted the OF+MO and never looked back," said Watson. "From the Film Commission to the local crew, to the fantastic locations and the generous and warm hearted people we have encountered, there has not been a moment that we have regretted our decision."

The film, which is utilizing the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program administered by OF+MO, begins principal photography on November 10, 2017, in Oklahoma City. Additional photography is scheduled to occur in the surrounding region and throughout the state with the production wrapping shortly before the Christmas holiday.

"Oklahoma is proud to set the scene for the feature length directorial debut for brothers Graham and Parker Phillips," said OF+MO Director Tava Maloy Sofsky. "We're incredibly grateful the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program has once again afforded expat filmmakers the opportunity to bring their projects home, and utilize our skilled crew, film-friendly businesses and diverse locations. We look forward to our continued work with this talented team of filmmakers and seeing how Oklahoma's transformative landscapes mirror our neighbors to the North."
