WARTIME RECIPES Plays at Jewel Box Theatre Thru 9/19

Jewel Box Theatre presents WARTIME RECIPES, winner of the Jewel Box's 1996 playwriting competition. This autobiographical play by E.E. Smith focuses on a young girl who helps out in a boardinghouse during World War II. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays through Sept. 19 at the theater, 3700 N Walker. For more information, call 521-1786 weekday afternoons.
