Sketch comedy team Uncle Function will introduce a series of brand new sketches at their upcoming comedy show Uncle Function LIVE! A Sketch Comedy Show at The Peoples Improv Theater on Friday, June 9th, at 8:00pm at 123 East 24th st, Manhattan with special guests: John Early (Search Party, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon) and John Reynolds & Friends (Search Party, Stranger Things). Uncle Function, hailed as "one of the smartest, silliest, and most seductively satisfying shows around!" by BroadwayWorld.com and NY TheatreGuide has warned: “You really need to take the opportunity to see this group before the apocalypse happens,” will present its signature brand of humor. Uncle Function is a sketch comedy group based in New York City. It was formed in 2015 by Tony-award winning Producer Ken Davenport (Godspell, Spring Awakening). Uncle Function is written by and features Chris Cafero (The Night Of/HBO), Russell Daniels (That Bachelorette Show /Off-Broadway) , Jessica Frey (The Characters/Netflix), Douglas Goodhart (Douglas and The Goodharts/Lead Singer), Gianmarco Soresi (GE Commercial Guy).

Since their inception, they have performed at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater, Davenport Theatre, Broadway Comedy Club, Ensemble Studio Theatre and now they can be seen monthly at The PIT.
