Once upon a time, there was a princess different from the usual fairy tale princesses. Rhodoula didn’t wait for a prince on a white horse to come under her window... No! No! She wanted to travel and explore the world... and she loved bungee jumping!
When news arrives that war has broken out and the enemy is coming to conquer the kingdom, Rhodoula, with the help of Spitha—the funny and poor soldier—will embark on an adventure-filled journey to save her kingdom. Unfortunately, the king is old and ill and only knows how to torment his poor servant.
On their way, Rhodoula and Spitha will meet a Tiger, and to save themselves from its sharp claws, they must solve her three riddles. Later, they will meet a Genie who looks like a Hollywood star and will reveal lost secrets of history, such as having had tea with Alexander the Great. With the help of the Genie, Rhodoula and Spitha will manage to stop the war and learn that the most important thing is not to win a war, but to stop one.
The Princess Goes to War is a play inspired by a 19th-century Greek traditional fairy tale with the same title.
The play cleverly combines the world of traditional fairy tales with the modern world we live in. It is filled with images and characters we typically encounter in folk stories, but all are presented in an unusual way, rich in humor and imagination.
The performance includes Greek folk and modern songs that emphasize the themes of the play and is presented in the Greek language.
The performance is not only very entertaining for children and their parents but also rich in meaning, ideas, and moral lessons for a fairer world without war, poverty, and hunger.

Μια φορ και ναν καιρ υπρχε μια βασιλοπολα διαφορετικ απ τις συνηθισμνες βασιλοπολες των παραμυθιν. Η Ροδολα δεν περμενε τον πργκιπα πνω στο λευκ λογο να ρθει κτω απ το παραθρι της…χι! χι! θελε να ταξιδψει και να εξερευνσει τον κσμο…και λτρευε το bungee jumping!

ταν ρχεται εδηση πως πλεμος ξσπασε και ο εχθρς ρχεται να καταλβει το βασλειο, η Ροδολα με τη βοθεια του Σπθα-του αστεου και φτωχολη στρατιτη- θα ξεκινσει να ταξδι γεμτο περιπτεια και δρση με σκοπ να σσει το βασλει της. Δυστυχς ο βασιλις εναι γρος και φιλσθενος και μνο ξρει να τυραννει την καημνη την υπηρτρι του.

Στο δρμο τους, η Ροδολα και ο Σπθας θα συναντσουν μια Τγρη που για να σωθον απ τα κοφτερ νχια της θα πρπει να λσουν τα τρα αινγματ της. Στη συνχεια θα συναντσουν να Τζνι που μοιζει με σταρ του Χλυγουντ που θα τους αποκαλψει μυστικ χαμνα στην ιστορα, πως τι πιε τσι με τον Μγα Αλξανδρο. Με τη βοθεια το Τζνι, η Ροδολα και ο Σπθας θα καταφρουν να σταματσουν τον πλεμο και θα μθουν πως το πιο σημαντικ δεν εναι να νικσεις ναν πλεμο, αλλ να σταματσεις ναν πλεμο.

Η Βασιλοπολα πει στον πλεμο εναι να ργο εμπνευσμνο απ να ελληνικ παραδοσιακ παραμθι του 19ου αινα με τον διο ττλο.

Το ργο συνδυζει με ξυπνο τρπο τον κσμο των παραδοσιακν παραμυθιν με τον μοντρνο κσμο στον οποο ζομε. Εναι γεμτο εικνες και χαρακτρες που συνθως συναντμε στις λακς ιστορες αλλ λοι παρουσιζονται με ασυνθιστο τρπο, πλοσιο σε χιομορ και φαντασα.

Η παρσταση περιλαμβνει ελληνικ δημοτικ και μοντρνα τραγοδια που υπογραμμζουν τα θματα του ργου και παρουσιζεται στην ελληνικ γλσσα.

Η παρσταση δεν εναι μνο πολ διασκεδαστικ για τα παιδι και τους γονες τους αλλ και πλοσια σε νημα, ιδες και ηθικ διδγματα για ναν πιο δκαιο κσμο χωρς πλεμο, φτχεια και πενα.
