The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh at Headwall Theatre Company

Headwall Theatre Company will be kicking off this Spring with: THE PILLOWMAN written by MARTIN MCDONAGH on Thursday March 27th and will run through Saturday April 12th, at The Secret Theatre 38-02 61st Street, Woodside, Queens.

In The Pillowman, a writer named Katurian is interrogated by two brutal detectives in a totalitarian state about his collection of disturbing short stories, which seem to eerily mirror a series of child murders happening in the town. This leads to a complex exploration of the relationship between art, violence, and the nature of creativity, while also raising questions about the power of the state to control artistic expression.
