Attend the tale of …someone we made up. We all know the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, but how many other people in your neighborhood could be vengeful murderers?? Is your optometrist a demon? Your landlord? Your boss?? You tell us!

The Understudies present an improvised Sweeney Todd-esc musical based on your suggestion. Every lyric, dance step, and murder is made up right before your eyes by a team of expert improv comedians to create a full blown broadway-worthy performance. What happens next? Well that’s the play, and he wouldn’t want us to give it away…..

The Understudies are Paddy Boroughs, Micaela Fagan, Reva Grimball, Robert Johnston, Elaine White, and Joe Wisniewski, accompanied by Ammon Taylor. They have performed on stages all over New York City, including UCB, Second City, and The Magnet Theater.
