Join Treehouse Shakers on a sailing adventure, in their newest piece for the very young, Sail Away. Tailored to the very early walkers, ages 18-24 months, Sail Away, is a mobile exploration experience that theatrically explores a day at the beach. This delightful first-time theatrical play experience includes flying seagulls, peek-a-boo sea creatures, toy boats, live music, dancing and so much more.

Conceived and written by Mara McEwin, with choreography by Rathi Varma, original music by Mario Giacalone, Sail Away explores the magnificence of the ocean through a fully immersive sensory experiential journey of visuals, sounds, objects, some language, and an open concept of play. Treehouse Shakers’ newest performance for toddlers and their grownups, will be sure to create lasting memories with this artistic and joyful performance first. 

Treehouse Shakers, now in its 27th Season, has created over 20 original dance-plays for young audiences. Notably known for their work for babies, they are the creators behind Flutter for ages 6-18 months, and Hatched for ages 0-6, which both continue to delight audiences throughout the country.
