Roslyn Kind - A Fine Romance at The Purple Room

Roslyn Kind is a dynamic, multi-talented entertainer who has forged a successful career in all facets of entertainment from critically acclaimed recordings to sold-out performances on Broadway and in top concert venues and nightclubs the world over. Happily ensconced in LA, Rozzie burst back onto the scene in a real big way in 2014, working around the US, Canada & Mexico. After a wonderful opportunity touring the globe with her sister, Barbra Streisand and her nephew, Jason Gould, the response from fans was tremendous! This prompted Rozzie to create a new solo-show. She reached out to Richard Jay-Alexander to direct and Alex Rybeck for musical direction and debuted the new show TO SOLD OUT CROWDS at 54 Below in New York City. Thus, beginning the next chapter of her musical/performing career.Audiences saw the new "Rozzie", reaching back into her musical history with material spanning from her RCA days and forging straight into the 21st century, bringing along some Broadway show tunes, pop and novelty songs, and personal favorites, shedding illumination and sharing stories to the delight of the audience. Audiences laughed and cheered and were very moved, showing their love with multiple standing ovations! Here's the girl who played just about every nightclub there was to play, as early back as The Persian Room, with an unmistakable skill that comes uniquely with that kind of history and pedigree. In a fluke of good timing, her first two albums (GIVE ME YOU and THIS IS ROSLYN KIND) have been re-released in a stunning single package by SONY Masterworks. Rozzie is currently in the studio recording a new CD to be released later in 2018.
