Writer and Director, Michele Leigh brings her courtroom drama, Owl Theory, to the Old Town Hall Theater in Brewster New York. This one-act play will be performed by local actors and the audience will serve as the jury. Featuring: Greg Hoffman (South Salem), Rachel Ames (Nyack), Dan Goldring (Manhattan), Elizabeth Smith (Brooklyn), Ruby White (New Milford) and Michele Leigh (Brookfield).
SYNOPSIS: In a sleepy town in upstate New York, Logan Grimwald is on trial for murdering his wife. Prosecutor Lockwood is convinced that the husband did it. If not him, then who? Defense Attorney Zorelli is about to present a bizarre alternate theory. Watch the show and then vote guilty or not guilty via an online poll.
This performance will help support The Cultural Arts Coalition of Southeast, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation dedicated to creating and sustaining a cultural center to celebrate the community with transformative and inspiring arts experiences. Since inception, the coalition has spearheaded efforts to reopen the exquisite theater in the historic Southeast Old Town Hall at 67 Main Street in Brewster, NY, the "Jewel in the Crown" of Brewster.
