Miro Magloire's New Chamber Ballet at Mark Morris Dance Center

Choreographer Miro Magloire presents his New Chamber Ballet in the opening performance of their 2023-24 season.  The evening will consist of four short Magloire ballets set to music by Maurice Ravel, Pierre Boulez, and contemporary composers Beat Furrer and Wong Foo Jeng.  As always, the ensemble of six female dancers will be accompanied by live music by pianist Melody Fader and violinist Doori Na.  "...Magloire has made a name for himself by creating sophisticated evenings of dance that use contemporary music in intriguing ways."  (The New Yorker)
