Get Ready for a Spine-Tingling October Edition of LIVING RADIO!
As the nights grow longer and the shadows stretch a little farther, Living Radio returns with a hair-raising, laughter-filled, and monster-packed evening of radio plays, guaranteed to get you into the Fall spirit! This October, we’re brewing up something wickedly fun at FRIGID New York's Under St. Marks Theater on Monday, October 7th at 7 pm!
What’s in store?
Five brand-new radio plays that take their cues straight from the headlines... with a twist. Each play is inspired by the news of the day, but in honor of chilly season, we’ve thrown in some spooky requirements:
Who’s bringing it to life?
The daring playwrights have tweaked the news headlines of October to transport you to worlds where the spooky meets the surreal. An amazing team of actors and directors will bring these new plays to life right in front of your eyes (and ears!) as if you’re the live studio audience of a vintage radio show.

Happy Fall!
Every month, Living Radio remixes current events to imagine what a slightly altered world could look like, with a live presentation at FRIGID New York’s UNDER St. Mark’s Theater. Five brand-new radio plays, written with inspiration from the news, featuring a rotating cast and creative team, exploring alternate presents. All shows are sound-designed and engineered by producer Robert A. K. Gonyo, and each play is also recorded as a podcast, available for streaming soon after the performance. The results range from the absurdly wacky to the poignantly reflective, from apocalyptic to aspirational—but they’re always clever, fun, and inspired. It's the news—only better!
Robert A. K. Gonyo is a theater director, actor, sound designer, voiceover artist, podcaster, musician, and tour-guide residing in Queens.
