Jonathan Karrant returns to the stage at Michael Holmes' Purple Room on Saturday October 20th to perform songs from and celebrate the release of his new album. Jonathan's new record was recorded live at The Smith Center in Las Vegas which is revered as one of the top ten performing art centers in the world.
This record is a collection of standards from iconic favorites to obscure tunes that evoke the emotion of Jonathans soul and style. His playful yet thoughtful vocal interpretation leaves a unique imprint on each musical piece he touches. This 14 track record is brought to life with Saxophonist Charles McNeal, Pianist Jason Corpuz, Bassist David Ostrem, and Drummer Paul Ringenbach.
Jonathans acclaimed studio album, On and On hit #4 on the Billboard Jazz charts. He has received honors throughout the U.S. including; the New York City Jazz Honors, Best Singer for the Bravo California Awards and Jonathan was named one of the top 12 rising Jazz vocalists in New York by NYJR.
