Join Matt Dillon and The Center at West Park’s (CWP) for a screening of City of Ghost at The Center at West Park

The Center at West Park’s (CWP) City of Ghost Screening featuring Matt Dillon and a talkback with renowned New York Times journalist Clyde Haberman. 

Taking place on Saturday, December 14, at The Center at West Park in New York City, an inclusive, nonprofit community arts center preserving its landmark home on the Upper West Side – will host a film screening of CITY OF GHOSTS followed by a talkback with Matt Dillon – who wrote, directed and starred in the film – and Clyde Haberman, a renowned columnist for The New York Times. 

The critically acclaimed 2002 thriller “City of Ghosts” follows Jimmy (Matt Dillon), a man on the run from a botched U.S. insurance scam, as he hides out in Bangkok. Eager to escape his past, he catches wind of a rumor: his former partner and mentor, Marvin (James Caan), has resurfaced in Cambodia. Determined to track him down and claim the promised cut of their last scheme, Jimmy embarks on a journey into the heart of a foreign, unforgiving world. 

CWP Film Center features a diverse slate of film screenings that span genres, ages and perspectives, offering cultural enrichment, artistic exploration and meaningful discussions for the community in a sacred shared space. Housed in its landmark building and with a capacity of 375 seats, the CWP Film Center is the largest independent film venue on the Upper West Side.
