The Wake is a dark comedy that centers around Randy, a good natured man from Iowa who has never seen a dead body.

When Randy arrives at his father-in-law’s funeral, he is surprised to find that only one other person has shown up to pay their respects: a curious Frenchman named Guy. But Randy quickly discovers that respect is the last thing on Guy’s mind, and Guy has a score to settle with this fellow in the casket whether he is among the living…or not.
