The Parkside Players closes their 24' - 25' season with a rarely produced musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach" with music and lyrics by Justin Paul and Benj Pasek. Performances begin Saturday, May 17th for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 1st (at 103-15 Union Turnpike, Forest Hills, Queens, NY 11375). Under the creative direction of David Thomas Cronin and music direction of Julian Sterling, the 15-member cast will feature Teddy Kai Schneider as James Henry Trotter, Kevin Schwab as Ladahlord, Lillian Salazar as Spiker, Kat Hine as Sponge, Jonas Barranca as Grasshopper, Laura Virginia Pernas as Ladybug, John Galligan as Centipede, Paulina Knaak as Spider, Phoenix Gray as Earthworm alongside Shana Aborn, Angelina Kelly, Hannah Brown, Quent Chiofalo, Ivy Di and Hannah Mariani rounding out the continuous evolving ensemble. The remainder of the Creative and Production Team for James and the Giant Peach includes Gabrielle Fidis as Executive Producer, Francesco Lojacano as Stage Manager, Will Frenzel as Set Designer, Glenn Rivano as Technical Director/Lighting Designer, Susan E. Young as Puppet Master/Co-Producer, Jessica Lausell as Movement Director, Chen Philips as Wig Master, Jonas Barranca as Stunt Coordinator and Tiffany McCue as Co-Producer.
