Tucson audiences already love Barnatan, having given him a mid-concert standing ovation when he appeared in Centennial Hall with Academy of St. Martin in the Fields last season. Back for a solo recital in the intimacy of Crowder Hall, this Israeli-born pianist’s broadly diverse repertoire will be on full display. As the San Francisco Chronicle recently noted, “the audience cheered the performance to the rafters.”
