The Orchestra of The Bronx, led by conductor Michael Spierman, will return to Lehman College with its annual holiday production of Handel's "Messiah". Soloists and chorus are members of The Bronx Opera, directed by Ben Spierman. The unique production includes full orchestra and chorus, and 23 guest speakers - a full spectrum of The Bronx community - who introduce each music section, speaking Handel's text. Speakers include the Bronx Borough President, a Senator, College Presidents and Faculty, an Honor Student, a Server in a popular Bronx restaurant, and more.
Lovinger Theatre is at 250 Bedford Pk Blvd. West, The Bronx, NY.
