Lara Fox and Ashley Lauren Rogers in association with The Tank present the world premiere of Generation (Laz)Y April 9-12, 2019 at 8pm. Generation (Laz)Y is a 90-minute satire written by Ashley Lauren Rogers about the economy and the Millenial or Gimme generation. It follows Margaret Chatterly, a thirty-something woman living in a tent in her parents backyard, holding down two minimum wage jobs and one internship, who is convinced she is dying. The play takes us through her struggles of trying to get one of her jobs to give her enough hours and pay to drop any of her other jobs before she dies of stress, ulcers, or the stupidity that is slowly crushing her.
Tickets are on sale now and production is still accepting tax-deductible donations to their fundraiser until March 1st.
Performances will be April 9-12 2019 at 8pm in the 98-seat theater of The Tank 312 W 36TH ST, NEW YORK, NY 10018 212-563-6269.

Generation (Laz)Y is presented by The Tank, a home for emerging artists. Tank website: thetanknyc.org. The Tank is a non-profit arts presenter serving emerging artists engaged in the pursuit of new ideas and forms of expression. We serve over 2,000 artists every year in over 800 performances in our new home on 36th Street, and work across all disciplines, including theater, comedy dance, film music, public affairs, and storytelling. Our goal is to foster an environment of inclusiveness and remove the burden of cost from the creation of new work for artists launching their careers and experimenting within their art form. We keep ticket prices affordable and view our work as democratic, opening up both the creation and attendance of the arts to all.
