Fini Dance Festival and International Dance Awards at Ailey Citigroup Theater

Antonio Fini, founder/director, announces the 14th Fini Dance Festival and Italian International Dance Awards, August 31, 8 pm, at the Ailey Citigroup Theater.  Once again Fini, a native of Calabria, will present companies from the U.S. and Italy, and present awards to TV dance show host Ornelia Fado, and dancers Javier Dzul and Francesco Messina.  Companies coming from Italy to perform are: Davide Accossato (Turin Tap Festival); Sofia Berto and Nikita Perotti (Italy's Dancing with the Stars); Sergio and Lorenzo Migliorati (B-boys from Perugia); and Sara Paterniani (Neverland Company from the Marche region).  From the U.S. are: Fini Dance Co.; Jennifer Muller/The Works; Jillian Pizzi (Staten Island Ballet); and the all-male Ballet Eloelle Grandiva.
