EXPERIMENTING WITH KATZ will open on Thursday, September 27th for a limited engagement, through Sunday, October 14th at TheatreLab (357 West 36th Street, NYC). The production, which officially opens on October 4th, spotlights the coming out process and its repercussions (both the serious and absurd), and is produced by the New Ambassadors Theatre Company and Julia Botero. This new comedy is written by David Adam Gill and directed by John Robert Tillotson. EXPERIMENTING WITH KATZ highlights the absurdity of those who use their ignorance about the LGBTQ community as justification for their actions, while ultimately harming the very people they love.
Performances of EXPERIMENTING WITH KATZ are on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays @ 7:30pm, with matinees on Saturday & Sunday @ 2:30pm. There will be a special talkback following Sunday performances.
Tickets are $25 and available online at https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/pr/997277 or by calling OvationTix at 1-866-811-4111 or at the theater’s box office prior to each performance. Student tickets are available for $18 (with valid student ID).
