Clymove Dance Gala at Ailey Citigroup Theater

Clymove, directed by Clymene Aldinger, will honor Sarita Allen at its April 2nd Gala.  The evening will also include a premiere by Aldinger; a 2nd premiere by JoVanna Parks; and a performance of "Pigs and Fishes" by Elisa Monte, who has given her permission to perform one of her most famous works, which was originally choreographed on Sarita Allen in 1982, and not seen in NYC in a decade.  Director/choreographer Clymene was a principal dancer with the Elisa Monte Dance Company for seven years, touring the U.S. and internationally.
