Her most recent credits include Macbeth (Shakespeare in Bryant Park, The Drilling Company), Hamlet (The Drilling Company), Three More Sleepless Nights (Chelsea Rep Lab), 4 $tages (Planet Connections). Her own show Eternal Youth has been produced three times in New York and will be part of the Galway Theatre Festival in Ireland this year, an excerpt from her show Forgive Us Our Trespasses also premiered there in 2017. She is the head-writer for Irish theatre company Cca Dna and has written several TV pilots.Mia Theodoratus is a composer, improviser and harpist. She has a MFA from CALARTS with Susan Allen. She teaches at Sarah Lawrence College, the Irish Arts Center and Mozartina Conservatory.Favorite experiences include Soft Focus on Sahko records with jimi tenor and Lary 7, Sony Records with country legend Jessi Couture, composing music for Flight of the Conchords on HBO, Dueling Harps with Ann Magnuson and performing with artists like Baikida Carroll, Charlie Haden, Daniel Carter and Lenny Kaye.Recent performance include a duo with Cormac De Barra at the Metropolitan Museum, the United Nations, the Whitney Museum and the Parish Museum.SCOTT MOONEY, TENORScott first discovered the ennobling power of classical culture and joy of bel canto singing as a tenor in the Schiller Institute chorus and is privileged to have participated in its production of Mozarts Requiem Mass memorializing President John F. Kennedy January 19, 2014 in Bostons Cathedral of the Holy Cross, precisely 50 years from the 1964 celebration there of that Solemn High Mass requested by the Kennedy family. Mozarts Requiem provided the unique means for several Schiller Institute, New York City memorials to the victims of September 11, 2001.In the recent year Scott is fortunate to have begun concentrated study with renowned soprano, Carmela Altamura, under whose auspices he traveled to Osimo, Italy in August for 10 days of master classes and to Poland in December for a series of peace concerts including at the Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakw. On May 1, 2019 Scott will help celebrate Maestra Altamuras 50 years of service to the arts at the Rockleigh Country Club.On Sundays Scott can be found singing in the joy-filled choir of Sr. Mire Close, Koinonia John the Baptist, Visitation BVM Church, Red Hook, Brooklyn.
