Four voices spring from a void, longing for freedom in a world full of familiar addictions and anxieties. Sarah Kane's language is her legacy — her splintered, haunting poetry burst onto the British stage in the 1990s. CRAVE was Kane’s fourth play, following BLASTED, PHAEDRA’S LOVE, and CLEANSED, all pieces which notably launched the art form into the twenty-first century. Egg & Spoon is thrilled to tackle such a potent and provocative work, the perfect addition to our second year of theatre making.
