Henry Alper

JAKE
Henry Alper is a performer, musician and theatermaker from Palo Alto, California. Entering his final year at NYU Tisch, he studied at the Atlantic Acting School and NYU Florence Commedia before spending a year at the Classical Studio and a summer at ITW Amsterdam. Recent collegiate acting credits include Richard III (Classical Studio), Sganarelle (NYU Florence), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Tisch Drama Stage). Henry is also a founding member of The Elif Collective, where he has devised and performed since 2022. @henry.alper


Frankie Tinelli

FRANKIE
Frankie Tinelli is a NYC based actor, writer, producer and current Junior at NYU Tisch as well as a recent alumni of The Atlantic Acting School and Jim Calder’s Commedia dell’Arte Program in Florence, Italy. Hailing from Suffern, New York Frankie’s desire to know a little something about everything and urge to live in the present as much as possible drew him towards acting. In his free time Frankie enjoys rock climbing, reading, explaining why Bruce Springsteen is truly the voice of a generation, disco-dancing and attempting to reach new land speed records on citi bikes. Frankie would like to thank the immensely talented cast and crew of A Lie of the Mind for such an incredible process and his friends and family for putting up with him in the meantime. Mia Cusianovic

BETH
Mia Cusianovic is a Chilean-Croatian actor & musician hailing from Southern California. She is a recent graduate of NYU Tisch Drama, having studied at Stella Adler, ETW’s International Theater Workshop in Amsterdam, and The Classical Studio. Some of her recent credits include: Richard III (Queen Elizabeth), Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (Roberta), In Arabia We’d All Be Kings (Sammy), and Moonshiner (Joan) — a new work developed with Lenfest Center for the Arts. Upcoming: a reading of the Goldberg Finalist play, Hockey Wives, at La Mama. She can be seen on FBI (CBS/Universal) as a co-star. In addition, she serves as the Associate Artistic Director of The Nest, a branch of the non-profit theater company, Citizen Arts. Eric Easter

MIKE
Eric Easter is an artist hailing from Washington, D.C. His love for the arts began with ballet at a young age, and since then he’s found passion in music composition, writing, filmmaking, and of course acting. At NYU he’s had the opportunity to play Peter in Ibsen’s AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. He has also played the Duke of York in Shakespeare’s RICHARD II and Florizel in THE WINTER’S TALE at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he became certified (w/distinction) in Broadsword through the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat. Eric is in his last year at Tisch Drama where he’ll be finishing out at the Atlantic Acting School’s transfer track. He is over the moon excited to work with such a great team of people on A LIE OF THE MIND!


Sophie Constantine-Sanchez

LORRAINE
Sophia Constantine-Sanchez is a 4th-year student at Tisch Drama currently training via the Experimental Theatre Wing. She completed her primary training at Stella Adler Studio of Acting and Stonestreet Studios Conservatory for Screen Acting & Production, respectively. In addition to their training at Tisch, they have also spent time at Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum, Drama Centre London, Santa Monica College, and San Francisco’s American Conservatory Theater (ACT). Sophia is honored to participate alongside such a talented cast & crew, and excited to engage in this challenging and complex piece of American theatre.


Sara Seim

SALLY
Sara Seim is an actress, singer, dancer, and portrait photographer based in NYC (but from Louisville, KY). She loves dinosaurs, being the center of attention, and making people laugh! She just finished her training at Atlantic Acting School through NYU Tisch and is an upcoming NYU grad. She has a particular passion for finding comedy in unlikely places and is beyond excited to be starting Clown Car Co, a new comedy based theatre company made up of fellow NYU grads! Recent credits include Sisters on the Ground (Atlantic Acting School, dir. Lauren Zeftel), Romeo and Juliet (Atlantic Acting School, dir. Ivey Lowe), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Kentucky Shakespeare Globe Players, dir. CARSON S. DAVIS is an actor, playwright, and poet hailing from Texas. While at NYU Tisch Drama, he studied at The Meisner Studio, The Classical Studio, Atlantic Acting School and Jim Calder’s Commedia dell’Arte Program in Florence, Italy. Recent credits: The Winter's Tale (Leontes), Titus Andronicus (Titus Andronicus), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Satan), and Molière’s Sganarelle. Nzingha Rothmiller

MEG
Nzingha is an NYC based actress, raised in South Jersey. Her love for theater arose within the passion for justice. Nzingha has honed her craft at various studios at NYU, her primary training being at The Lee Strasberg Studio. Though the foundation of her technique was cultivated around method acting, she expanded her horizons at the Meisner studio during her junior year. It was there that she got the honor of portraying Imogen in Shakespeare’s Cymbeline, Arkadina and Sasha in The Chekhov Project, Beatrice in Afterlife, and M in Cherrywood. Nzingha will continue to educate herself in the art of acting at the Atlantic Studio during her senior year. She is incredibly humbled to be working with the talented cast of A Lie of the Mind.


Nick Snipes

JAKE U/S
Nick Snipes is a creative, energetic actor, musician, and writer based in New York, New York. Finishing up his time at Tisch Drama, he recently studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Recent credits include Frank in Caryl Churchill’s Fen, HIM in Joe White’s Blackout Songs, and Skank in Stephen Adly Guirgis' In Arabia, We’d All Be Kings. However, as much as Nick is rooted in his own identity, he has recently shed the fabrics of his personality and replaced them with those of Jake. He is Jake and Jake is him. One force. Indistinguishable from one another. Loved ones have expressed a moderate level of concern, but it’s too late; he’s too far gone. Jake, that is.


Jason Hoover

Jason is currently a senior at Tisch. He’s trained at Stella Adler, ETW, and ITW. He wants to give a big shoutout to this entire team that has worked tirelessly and passionately to put together a killer production.


Sophie Rossman

Sophie Rossman (she/her) is a fourth-year Tisch Drama student who has studied at both the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Experimental Theatre Wing. She has also been lucky enough to train internationally at Tisch’s International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam and at Arthaus.Berlin’s International Summer School for Devised Theatre and Performance in Berlin, Germany. Recent stage credits include: FRNKNSTN (ETW mainstage), Anxiety is the Dizziness of Freedom (Tisch Drama Stage), As You Like It, The Odyssey, and Antigone (Stella Adler Studio of Acting). Catch more of her work this semester as an actor in Shakespeare in the Square’s Romeo & Juliet, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School’s This Is Where I Knew You Best and as a playwright in Knife Dog Play Festival’s Fall season! Mikah Mazza

Mikah (they/them) couldn’t be more excited to be a part of A Lie of the Mind. Having made their NYC stage debut earlier this year as Joan of Arc in the new play La Pucelle, they’re so thrilled to be involved in their inaugural show through NYU. They’re hugely appreciative to the Lie of the Mind crew and creative team for allowing them this opportunity to learn and grow with this show, and to the absolutely brilliant cast they’re fortunate enough to be a part of. When they aren’t acting (or reading books about it), they enjoy painting and photography.


Lucy Jones

Lucy Jones (She/her) is currently a Sophomore at the Atlantic Acting School at NYU Tisch Drama and an alumni of Walnut Hill, a Performing Arts High School in Natick, MA. Recent credits include: Lumierre in Beauty and the Beast (Acting Out), Chris Gorman in Neil Simon’s Rumors (Walnut Hill School for the Arts), Maria in Twelfth Night (NHS), Clown #2 in the 39 Steps (Stagedoor Manor), and Mowbray/Green in Richard II (RADA). Outside of her studies at Atlantic, Lucy continues to train in Voice, Dance, and studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts this past summer. MAX ZORN

COMPOSER & MUSIC
Max Zorn is a musician, actor, and sound producer from Seattle, Washington. He has studied songwriting and production under Nick Shadel for the past decade and has released four albums spanning several genres including dreampop, folk, and novelty. Along with contributing to the scores of several films and TV shows, Max has received formal acting training from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and the Seattle Children’s Theatre. In his free time, Max enjoys catching up on reality TV, reading at the beach, and telling really long jokes with unsatisfying punchlines.


Josh Healing

LIGHTING DESIGNER
JOSH HEALING (He/Him) is a lighting designer, projection designer & composer for theater from Chicago. Josh strives to tell and design for stories that lie at the intersection of curiosity and community-building. Some recent designs include STOP KISS (The Chain Theater), THE WIZARD OF OZ (LREI School), BLACKOUT SONGS, EDEN (Playwrights Horizons Downtown), ANXIETY IS THE DIZZINESS OF FREEDOM (NYU). Josh also recently programmed PRESENCIA with the Bushwick Starr. He is currently a 4th year in NYU’s Undergraduate Drama program. Alex Andersun is a theater maker, New York native, coffee lover and student in Tisch Drama’s Production and Design studio. He loves art that leaves him questioning his place in the world yet glad to be a part of it. Sophia is a New York based artist currently in her last year in the NYU Tisch Production and Design program studying scenic design and stage management as well as a minor in film. Dane Lum Hohmeyer

SOUND DESIGNER
Dane Lum Hohmeyer (they/them) is a filmmaker, composer, animator, and sound designer from Berkeley, California. They are currently pursuing their BFA for Film at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Recent credits include: sound mixer for the short film ROPE, principal animation for the film BLUE LIKE GREEN, director of the film MARI’S WORLD/JASMINE’S WORLD, and they have just returned from sound mixing in Kohala, Hawaii on the set of the film KEALOHA DISAPPEARS. Their work explores neocolonialism, Asian American identity, and queerness. They are currently in pre-production for their thesis film. They want to let you know that they extremely excited to sound design and collaborate with the extremely talented cast and crew of A LIE OF THE MIND!


Maddie Boudov

COSTUME DESIGNER
Maddie is an actor, director, designer and artistic multi-hyphenate based in Brooklyn, New York. Maddie is a graduating senior getting her BFA in Drama with a minor in applied theater at NYU Tisch training at the Experimental Theater Wing and the CAS Athens Study Abroad program. Recent costume design credits include Unholy (Short film), Unraveled (Short Film), and Wardrobe Crew for Pale Blue Dot(s) (Meisner Studio). She is the former marketing director and current president of Shakespeare in the Square at NYU, assistant directed their recent production of Love’s Labour’s Lost, and dramaturged for their production of Richard II. ELENA FALKOW (she/her) is an actor, dancer, & artistic multi-hyphenate from the Bay Area. Lusha Petrunina

DIALECT/SPEECH COACH
I am a junior at NYU, double majoring in Linguistics and Mathematics. One of the most fascinating aspects of linguistics for me is working with dialects and understanding their nuances. Last semester, I worked with the RP British dialect in TNT’s production of “Alice by Heart”, which proved to be an exciting experience that sparked my interest in dialect coaching. This semester, I am looking forward to continuing to be a dialect coach and working with everyone on their accents.


Jose Romero

DIALECT/SPEECH COACH
Jose Romero (he/him) is a junior at NYU majoring in Drama and minoring in Film Producing, and he is thrilled to have been invited to participate in this amazing project! Originally from San Jose, Costa Rica, Jose has been involved in theatre and film since an early age. He's had the opportunity to work with some talented Costa Rican artists, including a supporting actor role in the short film "Lucia en el Limbo," which made it to the Cannes Film Festival! During his time in New York, he's been involved in film, theatre, and most recently, dialect coaching! Recent credits include actor and writer in the devised piece “The Invitation” at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and dialect coach in the Off-Broadway production of “Alice by Heart,” in collaboration with Tisch New Theatre.


Ellis Van Houten

ELLIS VAN HOUTEN (he/they) is a theater artist from Chicago and current student at Tisch Drama’s Production and Design studio. Recent work includes: ROMEO & JULIET, SLAW (Oak Park Festival Theatre), EVERYBODY’S GIRL (IRT) and THE ROVER (Tisch Drama Stage). Lola Stockard

INTERIM STAGE MANAGER
Lola Stockard is an actress and a recent graduate of the Atlantic Acting School through NYU Tisch, where she is studying a BFA in Drama. Her recent credits include Cecilia in “Fefu and her Friends” (Atlantic Acting School, Dir. abigail jean-baptiste), Puck in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Atlantic Acting School, Dir. Montgomery Sutton), and Nina in “Lost Girl” (Viscera Theater Co., Dir. Walker Schneckenberger and Jessica Wastchak). Lola’s passion for the craft extends beyond the stage and screen, as she also has experience in stage management. She is dedicated to both theater and film, with a commitment to playing diverse roles and storytelling. Lola hopes to bring talent, enthusiasm, and professionalism to every project she undertakes. In her free time, you can catch Lola orchestrating dramatic scenarios in The Sims or uncovering magical secrets in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, both of which only fuel her craft as an actress.


Blaise Ylianna Hewlett

Blaise Ylianna Hewlett (she/her) is multifaceted artist from New York. Blaise is an alumni of the Atlantic Acting School and is a senior NYU where she is obtaining a BFA in Drama and working towards a double concentration in producing and educational theatre. Luke Wyngarden

PRODUCER
Luke Wyngarden is a passionate and driven artist who has chased his dreams from the Pacific Northwest to New York City. Starting his career on the stage and transitioning to the screen, Luke is an actor who you may have seen on Netflix’s “American Vandal” or TNT’s “The Librarians”. His dramatic work includes “To Kill A Mockingbird”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, and most recently “Concord Floral” with the Atlantic Theater Company. Behind the curtain (or screen), Luke works as a producer, director, and writer.


Ryan Rosenthal

PRODUCER
Ryan Rosenthal is a producer and current senior at NYU for Film and Television. While his work predominantly lies in the film/TV medium, he is an avid theater-lover, having started as a theater actor through childhood. With his production company, Cutting Edge Content, Ryan has been able to bring various creative endeavors to life. These include feature-length films, advertisements for local NYC businesses, live events, and now theater.
