Producer Nick Rafello is pleased to announce that, after three sold-out performances, his solo show YEAH, THAT HAPPENED, directed by Sam Viverito, has been scheduled for an additional performance at the United Solo Festival on October 9 at 9 pm. The production plays at the Studio Theatre on Theatre Row at 410 West 42nd Street. The next performance is on Monday, October 5 at 7:30 pm. Nick Rafello (Writer/Performer/Producer) is making his United Solo debut with his one man show, YEAH, THAT HAPPENED. Nick came to New York back in 1983 via Cupertino, CA as a trained dancer. As the years passed, he somehow found his way into the "Land of Funny" thanks to a long-time friend, Melinda Buckley. She introduced him to the Groundlings-East Improv. company. From there he studied with the wacky Tommy Koenig's Comic Studio. His other credits include national touring productions of A Chorus Line, Fiddler on the Roof (starring Theodore Bikel) and Sweet Charity (directed/choreographed by Bob Fosse). Regional Theatre: A Chorus Line, La Cage aux Folles, Evita, Pippin, Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof. Off Broadway: Carousel des Folles and Trolls, to name a few. Other credits include doing stand-up comedy throughout New York City, as well as sketch comedy on the old Conan O'Brien Show. Sam Viverito (Director) is an internationally recognized director and choreographer. His works have been seen in such diverse places as South Korea, South Africa, Bali, England, Malaysia, Japan and Puerto Rico, as well as here at home. He has sent out several national tours, worked in many regional theaters as well as television. Some highlights of his career are: First American company of A Chorus Line in Seoul, South Korea, directing PBS Great Performances NJPAC Gala Opening night, #1 MTV Video in Australia, Europe and Asia and one of the biggest shows to play Madison Square Garden with over 500 cast members. He is Artistic Director of Rainbow Circus and Artistic Consultant and Co-producer of The Naked Magicians.
