Taylor Negron is directing the new show "Who Loves You, Baby?" playing 5 nights at The Bowery Poetry Club during Fringe NYC. Fri. Aug. 12th, Sat. Aug. 13th, Sun. Aug. 14th, Fri. Aug. 19th, Sun. Aug. 28th.
Cleverly disguised as a lounge act, the show, written by New York's Hunter Nelson, stars Tom DiMenna as iconic 70's sex-symbol, recording artist, and would-be seducer of the known universe: Telly Savalas!
That's right! TV's Kojak is back from the afterlife, dusting off the old songs and singing them to a world that needs them now more than ever. Observe a man the way a man is supposed to be: confident. Forceful. Proud. A legitimate card-carrying sex symbol!
"Who Love's You, Baby?" has been the subversive hit of LA's underground cabaret scene, and made BEST OF HOLLYWOOD FRINGE this season.
The show turns the conventions of traditional cabaret to its own purposes, diagnosing and - before your very eyes - curing this generation's all-around cultural incontinence, forcibly remedying our decade's ever-weakening grasp on romance and masculine sexual identity!
See the show that has had hipsters and hip-replacements rolling in the aisles!
