'When It Rains' To Play At Producer's Club Starting 1/14

Entertainment  is proud to present the world premiere of When It Rains, a new play by Anthony Michael Laura.  Performances begin January14, 2009 at 8:00 pm at The Grand Theater at the The Producers Club. When It Rains is a contemporary tragedy set in the home of Helen and Jacob Lombardi.  Upon their daughter Taylor's release from prison for being wrongfully accused of the murder of her boyfriend Paul, Helen insists she see a therapist.  Through the objections of Jacob and Taylor, Helen hires Madison Roberts.  Lonliness, infidelity, love, death, and family are all explored in a drama that will make you question what's important and what happens to us WHEN IT RAINS.

Anthony Laura, playwright and director, has written, produced and directed several short and feature films that have been featured in The New York Independent Film and Video Festival. His film credits include E-mail My Heart, Choice or Consequence, and Schitzo, starring Marcienne Dwyer. Along with his film credits, he has recently written, produced and directed The Confession and The Third Step which premiered in January and July, respectively, at American Theater of Actors.
