For VC's 12th Season, "NYC's Best Army of Geeks" brings its critically acclaimed show, ALICE IN SLASHERLAND, back to NYC! Now featuring an updated script, new fights, new special FX, and introducing VC's own Robert Ross Parker in the role of Edgar the Demonic Bear! This Halloween, come party with the Geeks for Vampire Cowboys Alice in Slasherland. Written by Qui Nguyen and directed by Robert Ross Parker, the show will feature: Tom Myers, Eugene Oh, Robert Ross Parker, Nicky Schmidlein, Bonnie Sherman and Emily Williams. The show runs tonight, October 24 - November 2, 2013.

When Lewis Park accidentally resurrects the soul of a brutally slain girl named Alice, he unwittingly unleashes a literal hell on Earth. Now it's up to Lewis and his newly undead girlfriend along with her trash-talking demonic teddy bear and his longtime crush Margaret to save the world!

Vampire Cowboys is an OBIE Award winning "geek theatre" company that creates and produces new works of theatre based in action/adventure and dark comedy with a comic book aesthetic. The company actively pursues the mating of different genres with varied theatrical styles to create an eclectic structure to tell its stories. The company aims to bridge the gap between mass media entertainment and the performing arts, exposing the community to challenging, thought- provoking live entertainment rooted in today's pop-culture vernacular. In 2006, Vampire Cowboys was awarded the Caffe Cino Award by the New York Innovative Theatre Awards honoring them for "consistently producing outstanding work. In 2010, they won the prestigious Village Voice OBIE Award Grant. The company's past work includes: Vampire Cowboy Trilogy, A Beginner's Guide to Deicide, Living Dead in Denmark, Men of Steel, Fight Girl Battle World, Soul Samurai, Alice in Slasherland, and The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G.

Qui Nguyen is a Brooklyn based playwright and fight director and the Co-Artistic Director of the OBIE Award winning Vampire Cowboys. His scripts include the critically acclaimed Vampire Cowboys productions of The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G; Soul Samurai; Alice in Slasherland; Fight Girl Battle World; Men of Steel; Living Dead in Denmark; StaiNed Glass Ugly; A Beginner's Guide to Deicide; and Vampire Cowboy Trilogy. Other scripts include She Kills Monsters (The Flea); Bike Wreck (Ensemble Studio Theatre; Metropolitan Playhouse); Aliens Versus Cheerleaders (Keen Teens); Trial By Water (Ma-Yi Theater/Queens Theatre in the Park); and Krunk Fu Battle Battle (East West Players). Qui is a proud member of New Dramatists, The Ma-Yi Writers Lab, Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Playwrights Center, and an advanced actor/combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors.

Robert Ross Parker Robert is a Brooklyn-based director, writer, and actor. For Vampire Cowboys, he has directed the critically acclaimed productions of The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G, Alice in Slasherland, Soul Samurai, Fight Girl Battle World (nominated for Best Direction by the 2008 NY Innovative Theatre Awards), Men of Steel, Living Dead in Denmark, Vampire Cowboy Trilogy, A Beginner's Guide to Deicide, and StaiNed Glass Ugly. Recent directing credits include How to be a New Yorker (currently running Off-Broadway); She Kills Monster (The Flea), Goodbye Cruel World (Roundtable Ensemble) which he also penned, Hamlet (solo) starring Raoul Bhaneja (Hope and Hell), A Political Party!, the national tour of Children's Letters to God (Lamb's Theatre/Broadway Overseas Management), the Off-Broadway premiere of My Fake ID's (Lamb's Theatre), Lady Convoy (FringeNYC), Justin Reinsilber's F*cking Love (WEJ Productions), and numerous readings for Ensemble Studio Theatre where he was a young director-in-residence

Incubator Arts Project cultivates and presents a multi-generational community of artists who challenge the conventions of live performance by producing original work at St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery. IAP programs provide access to a fully equipped venue along with personalized career support and strategic investment of resources individually tailored to the needs of each artist.

By providing production opportunities for emerging to mid-career artists, Incubator Arts Project functions as a training ground where formative repertoire is conceived and new work can be constructed as each participant's artistic voice develops a distinct style. In addition to offering artists exclusive access to a theater, technical assistance and administrative support, staff provides professional mentoring and advisement to assist in the process of making well-considered choices in support of artists' long-term stability and success during all stages of their careers.

Core programs include the New Performance Series, Other Forces, Music and Short Form. Incubator Arts Project is fiscally managed by Performing Artservices Inc., a New York based non- profit arts organization, and is artistically led by a team of curators who collectively make programmatic, artistic and organizational decisions.

Since 2006, Incubator Arts Project has presented award-winning work by artists including: Hoi Polloi, Julia Jarcho, Banana Bag & Bodice, Bluemouth Inc., Debate Society, Daniel Fish, Half- Straddle, Karinne Keithley, Object Collection, Vampire Cowboys, and Witness Relocation. Incubator artists have seen their work tour nationally and internationally and go on to Off-Broadway runs.
