UglyRhino Productions announces casting for their interactive haunted warehouse experience, Warehouse of Horrors: Gowanus ’73, based on true events that happened in and around The Brooklyn Lyceum in the 1970s. The principal cast of the show will feature Michael Bernstein (You Can’t Kill Stephen King), Kelsey Landon (Get Gone with The Glass Bandits), Leah Loftin (The Maids with Jean Cocteau Rep), Jennifer McVey(Knives and Spoons Go On The Right with 3Roads Productions), Brittany Parker (Adam Rapp’s Stop the Virgens at St. Ann’s Warehouse), Anna Perczak (UglyRhino’s Centralia) and Harrison Unger (Batz at Joe’s Pub). The production will run October 12-November 1, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, with special performances on Halloween (Wednesday, October 31) and All Souls’ Day (Thursday, November 1).

Warehouse of Horrors: Gowanus '73 explores the seedy underbelly of 1970s Brooklyn. After a string of mysterious and grotesque murders at an underground rave party, a complex web of mafia relations, crooked cops, and dangerous drug dealers is revealed. A peek into the twisted and true history of the area, the show combines non-traditional storytelling with a social atmosphere, enveloping audiences deep into the world of the play as they encounter characters, hear their stories and sip on cocktails. Each audience member of Warehouse of Horrors: Gowanus '73 will have a distinctly unique experience as they travel around The Warehouse and try to ensure they are not the next one to go.

UglyRhino’s Warehouse of Horrors: Gowanus ‘73 will run October 12-November 1 at The Brooklyn Lyceum (227 4th Avenue at Union Street, Brooklyn), Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with additional performances on Wednesday, October 31 and Thursday, November 1 at 8pm. Tickets ($20)are available in advance at www.uglyrhinonyc.com. All ticket purchases will include 3 free curated cocktails.
