UPSTANDER BYSTANDER: From Camp To Camp At Frigid Fest NYC This February ImageUpstander or Bystander? That is the question.

Moving, poignant and powerful describe this tour de force peace project about the human condition and standing up for what one believes. Spanning from the World War II to current day, four characters in German, Jewish and a refugee camps explore love, fate, free will and human responsibility. Fear of otherness has run rampant through history and continues in our day and age. The question is: are we all so different? Upstander is about forging connections in an increasingly fragmented world to avoid the pitfalls of the past and to create peace in the present.

Written by Laurence Bohec, Directed and translated by Marisa Stefatos and stage managed by Lesley Wolf-- with a very talented international cast (Geraldine Dulex*, Sophie Max, Terence Schweizer and Samantha Wendorf), and wonderful solo guitarist and composer Raffi Froundjian, Upstander Bystander will take you on an unforgettable journey.
