Twenty Feet Productions, the company that brought you last year's critically acclaimed (New York Times Critic's Pick, March, 2007), sold out revival of Orson Welles' Moby Dick - Rehearsed is now proud to bring Becket, Jean Anouilh's Tony Award-winning masterpiece, back to the New York stage. Becket follows the tragic relationship of King Henry of England & Thomas Becket, his dearest friend who would become his greatest enemy when royal whim elevated Becket to the pinnacle of the clergy. Becket will run from September 3-21 at the Richmond Shepard Theatre.
Becket features Tim Scott as Henry II & Penny Bittone as Thomas Becket. Marc Silberschatz, Artistic Director of Twenty Feet Productions & the director of last season's Moby Dick – Rehearsed, directs this first New York production of Becket since the original Broadway production in 1961.
