If the writers of Airplane! had written a film noir, it would be Joan Crawford in..."Flesh and Blood!" The show chronicles the iconic Joan Crawford taking on yet another classic film role, Beulah Drake - the quintessential martyr house frau of film noir. Beulah trades in her apron for jewels and minks by unwittingly associating with the criminal element. Soon, she finds herself entangled in a plot of murder, revenge, and the sordid realm of childhood stardom! If you're not on the edge of your seat yet, you need a smaller chair.
Joan Crawford in..."Flesh and Blood!" a film noir parody by Joe Major, had an industry reading in 2010 featuring Tony Award winner Michele Pawk. In 2014, it was selected by Tomorrow & Tomorrow Theater Company for their inaugural show and its world premiere!
Directed by Evan Greenberg, the cinematically theatrical production features Tanner Dahlin, Dean Jones, Emily Patton, Matt Stevens, Katie Willmorth and Pamela Wilterdink as Joan Crawford.
