Titan Theatre Company Announces It's 10th Anniversary Season  ImageTitan Theatre Company announced its highly anticipated 10th Anniversary season today. The company will present their season as the official "Company in Residence" at Queens Theatre in beautiful Flushing Meadows Park.


Titan's Main Stage season features some of their most ambitious titles to date. With an exciting 4 show Main Stage season, as well as expansive outreach and education programs, Titan continues to prove itself as Queens' leading theatre company.


The company will kick off its 10th Anniversary with Shakespeare's masterful romance, THE TEMPEST, directed by Titan Artistic Director Lenny Banovez. The production will feature an "A list" cast, with Broadway Veterans Terry Layman & Ellen Fiske joining the company.


Titan's annual production of their original, Award Winning musical adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL by Charles Dickens follows. The soaring adaptation by Titan Artistic Director Lenny Banovez & Titan Company Member Emily Trask is back for its 5th consecutive season and continues a beloved family tradition and is one of the hottest tickets of the city's holiday season. NYC Based director Tony Clements (BWAY: MAMMA MIA!, Skylight Music Theatre, Creative Director "Disney on Classic") will helm the production, and will feature actress Carine Montbertrand as Ebenezer Scrooge.


After the holidays, Titan takes on another classical masterpiece, CYRANO. This exciting and innovate adaptation by Jo Roets, will feature 3 actors that cover all the characters within this epic tale of romance, swordplay, and poetry. Mary MacDonald Kerr (Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Renaissance Theatreworks) will make her Titan directorial debut. CYRANO will hit the stage in February.


Titan will close their 10th anniversary season with the play that closed their inaugural season in 2008, Shakespeare's greatest achievement, HAMLET. The production will be directed by Lenny Banovez, and will feature actress, and Titan Co-Founder, Laura Frye as the iconic Prince of Denmark. The production promises to be one of the highlights of NYC's spring season and a thrilling way to end Titan's 10 year milestone.


Complete casting and creative teams will be announced at a later date.


Artistic Director Lenny Banovez, Managing Director Kevin Beebee and company have developed a stellar reputation by offering a consistent level of innovation and quality that has taken the New York City theatre scene by storm over the last ten years. Rising from performing in a 30 seat Tex-Mex Restaurant/Comedy Club to holding the title of "Theatre in Residence" at the premier performing arts venue in the borough of Queens, the Queens Theatre.


"Ten years. It is so hard to believe it has been ten years." said Beebee. "It's not easy to establish a company in NYC with that kind of staying power. It's a testament to the quality of work, the dedication of our staff and company members, and the incredible support and loyalty of our amazing patrons and community. I cannot thank everyone enough."


In Titan's outreach programming this year, the company is teaming up with The Metropolitan Museum of Art for their World Culture Festival, as well as continuing their participation in their "Teens Take the Met" event. Titan is also pleased to continue their partnership with the Ronald McDonald House, providing programming for children and their families. This year also marks a new reading series with the Queens Borough Public Libraries. Info on all these programs will be announced on a later date.
