Tickets for the Columbia Stages production of Eugène Ionesco's The Lesson directed by Adrian Roman are now on sale to the public.

The tension between a frustrated teacher and a reluctant pupil is often ominous.  But in Eugène Ionesco's absurdist tale, the conflict grows deadly.  Hailed as a masterpiece for over 50 years, this perverse comic drama has become an essential standard in the Theatre of the Absurd.

The cast will include Thomas Poarch as the Professor, Michele Richardson as the Pupil, and Amber Lackey as the Maid.

The Riverside Theater is located at 91 Claremont Avenue (between 120 and 122nd streets). The show runs from March 12th-15th 2008. To purchase tickets please visit www.columbiastages.com.
