Dickless is a one-woman show, narrated by Saff (who's on the run), and Oli (who should be). Through their recounts, we follow how what starts as an internet rumour and an incriminating photo fast becomes an adrenaline-fueled quest for revenge, replete with headless cats, bizarre sexual conquests, and girls behaving monstrously. Just your typical evening at a small British working class town.
The play blends the beats of performance poetry with the twists of a whodunit in a show that explores gender identity, as Saff and Oli conform to and combat society's expectations of lads and lasses, which leads them both down a dangerous path- one that will change their lives forever.
Dickless is the new work from Peter Shaffer Award recipient and Tisch School of the Arts alumnus: Aisha Josiah, and it's produced by Sam Underwood's Production Company, Fundamental Theater Project, an international-artist-focussed company based in NY.
