Three Day Hangover Stages R+J: STAR-CROSS'D DEATH MATCH, Now thru 10/4

Three Day Hangover gets all romantic with R+J: Star-Cross'd Death Match, their next Shakespeare drinking theatrical extravaganza performed in a bar with audience participation and booze. Lori Wolter Hudson directs a cast of ten, including Nick Mills* (The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin, The Steadfast) as Romeo and Suzy Jane Hunt* (Broadway's Dead Accounts, rogerandtom) as Juliet, with Matt Bradley*, Garrett Deagon, Grace Gealey*, David Hudson*, Paul Kite*, Jenna Panther*, Brendan Spieth*, and Titus Tompkins*. Six performances will be staged at Harley's Smokeshack (Midtown), 356 West 44th Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10036 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm from today, September 25-October 4, 2013. *Member AEA. R+J: Star-Cross'd Death Match is a highly immersive production of Romeo & Juliet that places the audience right in the middle of Shakespeare's most famous family feud. When two households break from ancient grudge to new mutiny, spectators must pick a side in the fight! Young love clashes with quick tempers and there will be consequences for actors and audiences alike! Watch your back and fall in love in an evening of rivalry, romance and really awesome drink specials.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at http://threedayhangover.bpt.me/. A full cash bar (no drink minimum!) is available throughout the event. Special drink prices include $3 domestic bottles and $5 well drinks. There will be no food available during performances, but you can come early or stay after and eat at the restaurant downstairs.

Lori Wolter Hudson (Director, Co-Producer) is a co-founder of Three Day Hangover. Recent directing credits include: Closing Costs (The Barrow Group), According to the Chorus (FAB Women), Tania in the Getaway Van (NHP), RSVP a radio musical (iTunes), And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little(NYU-Strasberg), Running and The Classroom (FringeNYC). She assistant directed the TONY Award-winning revival of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Craig Lucas's The Lying Lesson with director Pam MacKinnon. Ben Charles (Adaptor) is an actor/writer currently based in NYC. Recently, in the city, he has worked with The Pearl Theatre Company, Amios, the New York Classical Theatre, and Hedgepig Ensemble Theatre and regionally with The Milwaukee Rep., Cleveland Playhouse, the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and the Texas Shakespeare Festival. He is a proud graduate of the Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP). Ben is thrilled to be working on boozy Shakespeare with Three Day Hangover and this talented group of artists.

Nick Mills * (Romeo) recently finished understudying two roles in The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin by Steven Levenson at the Roundabout, and earlier this year made his Off-Broadway debut in The Steadfast with Slant Theatre Project. In January, he will be seen in the world-premiere of The Legend of Georgia McBrideby Matthew Lopez at the Denver Center. Other NY Theatre: Baby Talk (Ars Nova). Grace Gealey* (Tybalt) elated to join the dope Three Day Hangover fam and is mad hype to play that delicious rebel, Tybalt. Matt Bradley* (Benvolio) is an artist living in NYC. Recent credits include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern in Three Day Hanover's recent production of The HAMLET Project: Summer in the City and the world premiere of Dan Lefranc's Troublemaker at Berkeley Rep. MFA from the American Conservatory Theater. BFA from the University of Evansville.

Jenna Panther* (Mercutio, Montague) has extensive experience playing men onstage, including John Adams in The President Plays at this year's ANTFest at Ars Nova. As a woman, her recent credits include Bears (59E59), Thirds (Theatre Row), ShakesBEER (NYShakespeare Exchange), Eventide, A Prayer for Owen Meany(Denver Center). She is a member of the Group Lab and a Co-Artistic Director of Amios, a funky downtown theatre company that produces the monthly show Shotz! She recently co-directed Amios' full-length commission, There's a Light on Yonder Mountain, at Under St. Mark's. Jenna is a proud graduate of The National Theatre Conservatory and the University of Evansville. Perhaps most importantly, she is a native of Louisville, KY - "home of the most exciting two minutes in sports."

Brendan Spieth* (Lady Capulet, Lord Capulet) The Aliens (Weston Playhouse, VT), American River (Lesser America), Ozet: Common Hall Village 20 (Incubator Arts Pjct.). Paul Kite* (Nurse, Sampson) recently played Claudius and the Ghost in Three Day Hangover's production of The HAMLET Project: Summer in the City. He has worked at Williamstown, The Kennedy Center, The Pearl, Second Stage, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Barrington Stage, Working Theatre, and The New Harmony Project. BS Evansville. MFA Rutgers.

Garrett Deagon (Friar, Abrams) is living for this creation! His most recent endeavor includes co-creating and producing New York's, monthly, Color Cabaret series: a new color is featured each night and the entire evening is built from there! You can catch him as The Host on All the Wrong a Places, a new web-series out this fall, and he is also in the works of establishing an improv team. Favorite roles include Eugene in Life Could be a Dream, Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night, Burrs in The Wild Party, and Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof.

David Hudson* (Prince, Flip Master, Co-Producer) recently played the title role in Three Day Hangover's production of The HAMLET Project: Summer in the City. Other recent credits include: Boy Gets Girl (Access Theatre NYC), The Classroom (FringeNYC), Beautiful Somewhere (staged reading: The Culture Project), The Little Dog Laughed (Theatre Out), and We The People (National Tour), among others. In May, he workshopped a new play, Soups, Stews and Casseroles: 1976, with Rebecca Gilman at The New Harmony Project. David has worked with Bayer Healthcare, Mead Johnson, Nintendo, and Tidel Engineering as on screen and voice talent for sales, marketing, and training videos, as well as live events. Titus Tompkins* (Soundpost) is an actor/musician, and is fresh meat for NYC as of August. He plays drums, bass, guitar, spoons, accordion, jaw harp, mandolin, ukulele, and a touch of piano. He owes his musicianship to not having TV growing up. He is currently drummer for NY band, The Rusty Guns. Got his MFA in acting from American Conservatory Theater.
