Corey and Vanessa are here to perform an all-female educational touring production of Of Mice And Men-but before they can start the show, a divine interruption sends their curtain speech into a cycle of possessions and forces the two women to confront their notions of power and performance in a post-#metoo world. COREY AND VANESSA PRESENT... offers audiences comedy, sisterhood, and some new tools for dismantling the patriarchy.
COREY AND VANESSA PRESENT... was devised in following the 2016 Presidential Election by costume designer Siena Zoe Allen (Crackskull Row at Irish Repertory Theater), sound designer Emily Auciello (Dear Elizabeth at WP Theater), actor Samantha Clark (staged reading of Little Rock at The Sheen Center), actor Bonita Jackson (Rachel at Irondale Center), and director Alex Randrup (Love Magic Ritual Spell at Dixon Place). They are joined for this production by lighting and scenic designer Cecilia Durbin (Disgraced at Portland Stage Co & Hangar Theatre) and projections designer Ashley Kok.
