The Peoples Improv Theater and award-winning solo show artist and producer Peter Michael Marino proudly announce the return of SOLOCOM following last year's record-breaking weekend. This year's 4-day festival features 125 world premiere solo comedies and 6 encore performances by artists from across the country, Canada and England - from traditional solo show artists to sketch, storytelling, stand-up, musicians, dance, drag, puppetry, magic, multi-media, improv, cabaret, and clowning.

I'm a Comedienne, Not a Doctor and the critically acclaimed 2016 Edinburgh Fringe multimedia spectacle, Harmon Leon's Big Fat Racist Show; and all-new comedic solo performances from actors, improvisors, stand ups and storytellers from The PIT's community and beyond.

SOLOCOM was created in 2013 to provide artists a platform to generate and launch brand new comic material. Dozens of shows that made their debut at SOLOCOM have gone on to tour the world and play at various festivals including Edinburgh Fringe, Hollywood Fringe, NC Comedy Arts Festival, Orlando Fringe and more.
With over 130 shows ranging from 15-60 minutes in 3.25 spaces over 4 days, there's bound to be something to tickle everyone's funny bone during the return of this groundbreaking, comical solo show weekend.
