Sex, regret, and a road trip. In Buyer's Remorse, Mara is on the road with nothing but a playlist, podcasts, and her thoughts. She confronts romantic love, intimacy, and loneliness. Can you be independent without being alone?

Raised in a generation where the success of the nuclear family defined happiness - how do you justify your uncertainty? On a road trip to find the future, the past insists on being a backseat driver. One woman opens up about her insecurities, her "number", and her fear of the road that lies ahead.

The New Collectives is New York based theatre & film collective. We began to take shape in February 2014 while working onThe Witches, a four person adaptation of Macbeth. After a successful workshop production in August 2014, Giverny Petitmermet, Dan Morrison, Sarah Moore and Mara Gannon decided to make their collaboration official & The New Collectives were formed in January 2015. Our mission is to create new, intimate & innovative works drawing inspiration from classic plays, develop contemporary work, & cultivate an environment for educational growth with ourselves and the local community. In July 2015, The New Collectives ran a successful week long Shakespeare summer camp in Brooklyn, forming our education branch, The Young Collectives. Helmed by Education Director Erin Maxon & Education Associate Julia Levine, The Young Collectives has expanded its education programing to include teaching artist workshops, in school workshops & holiday Shakespeare camps, in addition to our Shakespeare summer camps. In October 2015, after reworking the script & expanding the cast to 6, The New Collectives, in association with Wandering BArk Theatre Company, produced a full production of The Witches, at The Access Theatre in NYC. In August 2016, The New Collectives brought the world premiere of Sam Gooley's Steve Got Raped. to the New York International Fringe Festival! For more information visit www.thenewcollectives.com
