Following a sold-out debut show at Jimmy's 43, The Monologue Series is back for second installment and moving to The Barrow Street Theatre. Confessions of Sin will feature five original monologues written specifically for this evening and performed by five different actors. This one night only event will take place on June 27, 2014 at 10 PM.

The Monologue Series, created and directed by James Fauvell (co-artistic director, LabRats Theatre Company and 2013 NYIT Award Winner, The Rise and Fall of a Teenage Cyberqueen), pairs a New York playwright with a New York actor and asks them to collaborate on a monologue centered around a common theme.

Confessions of Sin features new works by Lawrence Dial (LabRats Theatre Company), Lindsay Joy (2013 NYIT Award Winner, Rise and Fall of a Teenage Cyberqueen), Mike Lavoie (Lucille Lortel Award Winner, Mike Birbiglia's My Girlfriend's Boyfriend), Pia Scala-Zankel (Vertigo Theater Company) and Daniel Talbott (Rising Phoenix Rep and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater) and performances by Jordan Kenneth Kamp (OJ:The Musical), Michael Kingsbaker (The Shelter), Jacob Perkins (The Few, The Rise and Fall of a Teenage Cyberqueen) Will Pullen (Scarcity, Your Mother's Copy of the Kama Sutra) and Alexandra Renzo (Vertigo Theater Company). It is produced by Carlee Briglia (Colin Quinn Unconstitutional) and Mike Lavoie.

"The original idea for the show was simple: find exciting writers, pair them with a great actor and give them a chair and a stage," said James Fauvell. "The response to our first show was overwhelming - a standing room only crowd and we had to turn people away. We're incredibly excited and honored to be bringing the show to the one and only Barrow Street Theatre."

Tickets are $10 and are available in cash at the door. Tickets can be reserved in advance by emailing monologuereservations@gmail.com. Reservations will be honored until five minutes before show time.
