The Modern Shakespeare Project's HENRY VI Begins Tonight

The Modern Shakespeare Project proudly opens its third season tonight, March 26th, with its first indoor production, HENRY VI.

The team has condensed Shakespeare's robust, sprawling War of the Roses trilogy into a two-hour production. Performed by nine returning company members and using MSP's signature ensemble style, Henry VI brings to life many of Shakespeare's most exciting characters, including Joan of Arc, Queen Margaret, revolutionary Jack Cade, and a young Richard III.

Performances are March 26 -27 and April 2-3 at 8:00 p.m. at Lucid Body House, located at 230 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10016, located on Lexington Ave between 33rd and 34th streets. Closest subway station is the 33rd Street 6. Venue is also walking distance from the 28th street 6 and Grand Central.

Tickets are $10 online, $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite.

The cast features: Rebecca Behrens, Yair Ben-Dor, Mario Brown, Tracy Einstein, Eliza Jane Logan, Caterina Nonis, Morgan Patton, Brian Scanlan, and Adam Wennick.

HENRY VI is directed by Brian Scanlan and company and assistant directed by Caterina Nonis. The production features fight direction by Mark Ryan Anderson.
