The Joust Theatre Company presents ASSISTANCE by Leslye Headland, directed by Maydé Alpi, running tonight, December 10-13, 2015.

ASSISTANCE, by Leslye Headland (Bachelorette, Sleeping with Other People), is a dark comedy about the humiliating power struggle amongst six twenty-somethings working as assistants in the unforgiving office of Daniel Weisenger, where the phone never, never, never stops ringing. Daniel Weisenger is not seen in person throughout the play, but his threatening omnipresence brings his assistants to the edge, and in most cases, beyond it. The story is loosely based on the playwright's time spent as an assistant to Harvey Weintein.
