When Ana (Isabelle Van Vleet), Julia (Mikele Hogan) and Mehr (Zoe Curzi) all fall in love with the same mysterious man (Andrew Carr), these old friends must reexamine the rules of love, friendship, and how we communicate in our technologically saturated world. Dipika Guha's The Rules is a "late coming of age story" following Ana, as she redefines how she views herself, her closest friends, and what it means to love.

She studied English Literature at University College London, was a Frank Knox Fellow at Harvard University and received her MFA from the Yale School of Drama under Paula Vogel.
