The New York based theatrical Production Company The Indies Lab will present 6 performances of FACE DIVIDED and THE MUTILATION OF SAINT BARBARA, as part of the 2011 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, June 4 - 19, 2011, at the Robert Moss Theatre (440 Lafayette Street) in New York City.
Multiple award-winning playwright Mark Borkowski, is the writer and director of THE MUTILATION OF SAINT BARBARA and has a starring role in the AMC new released film, COST OF A SOUL, which is now open in 50 different AMC theatres nationwide.
Edward Allan Baker (Author of FACE DIVIDED) is a NYC playwright whose one Act Plays have been produced all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe, most notable among others include, North Of Providence, Dolores, Rosemary With Ginger, Face Divided, A Dead Man's Apartment, Up, Down, Strange, Charmed, Beauty and Truth, Mafia On Prozac, and Lila On The Wall. Off-Broadway successes include full-length plays, Prairie Avenue, American Storage, and The Framer. A screenwriter as well as being a faculty member at Pace University/Actors Studio Drama School, and a recipient of "The 25th Anniversary Award For Theatrical Excellence," by The Ensemble Studio Theatre Of New York. He is a member of The Dramatists Guild.
Karen Giordano (Director of FACE DIVIDED) was the Acting Consultant for the Oscar Winning Film "Precious"; Acting Consultant for Mariah Carey on "Wise Girls" and her Partial TV/Fim Acting Credits include: "Wise Girls", "Double Down", "The Sopranos" "Law & Order", "Third Watch", "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", "2by4", and "Home Alone 2: Lost In New York".
Set and Lighting design is by Chris Noke.
Performances of FACE DIVIDED & THE MUTILATION OF SAINT BARBARA are on June 4th (Sat) - 5:30pm, June 6th (Mon) - 9:00pm, June 8th (Wed) -4:30pm, June 12th (Sun) - 6:00pm, June 17th (Fri) - 8:00pm and on June 19th (Sun) - 11:30am.
