THE WALK ACROSS AMERICA FOR MOTHER EARTH Comes Ellen Stewart Theatre

TAYLOR MAC heads a cast of 12 in Mr. Mac's newest work THE WALK ACROSS AMERICA FOR MOTHER EARTH, beginning previews January 15 and opening January 20 at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) in Manhattan.

Presented by La MaMa ETC in association with The Talking Band, WALK is written by Mr. Mac, with music by Ellen Maddow, and is directed by Paul Zimet.

The play draws on Mr. Mac's personal experiences as an 18-year-old when he joined a group of political activists on a protest walk from New York to a Nevada Nuclear Test Site in 1992.
