THE MUSIC MAN Begins Previews Tonight at The John W. Engeman Theater

The beloved classic musical Meredith Wilson's THE MUSIC MAN, will begin previews at the John W. Engeman Theater tonight, March 27 at 8:00 p.m. with the official opening on Saturday, March 29 at 8:00 p.m. and running through May 18, 2014.

An affectionate tribute to a bygone era, Meredith Wilson's THE MUSIC MAN follows fast-talking, traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of small-town River City, Iowa into buying musical instruments and uniforms for a boys bad he vows to organize - despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian. Filled with big laughs, barbershop quartets and classical musical numbers such as Seventy-Six Trombones, Goodnight Ladies and Till There Was You, THE MUSIC MAN is sure to delight the entire family.
